I’ve just purchased a bunch of frames and keep painting stuff that could possibl…

I’ve just purchased a bunch of frames and keep painting stuff that could possibly fit in. It’s actually a problem for me because people want to buy store bought frames and put the artwork in there even if it doesn’t fit and doesn’t look right. It’s perfectly understandable not to let it be done professionally, because it’s crazy expensive, even here, in Poland (we have just let it done with my dad and we’ve payed like two times more than I normally charge for my works). Also watercolor paper has just a very strange size for the most of the time. So this is how the art looks like from the kitchen 😂. Not romantic, not crazy, but practical and pragmatic 😜.

The frame I’ve bought used from eBay.

  1. you can look for a paper cutter i guess

  2. @artonpapier I have one, but it doesn’t work if the composition of painting still doesn’t fit in the passepartout. Sometimes I would need to cut an artwork itself. Especially if it comes to the teapots- it doesn’t fit in the frame, there is still a need for a passepartout which then must be done for order, and even when I don’t want to destroy the way the artwork looks on the paper.
